VBS 2013
This year the Evangelical Free Church in Orangeville joined with us as we reached out to the children from the surrounding area. The theme for VBS 2013 was ‘Son Rock Kids Camp’.

Nicaragua fall 2009

This team focused on presenting the Gospel through evangelistic puppet shows. We worked in Condega and coordinated with a youth group there and their outreach program. We then went to Managua and visited various places including churches, schools and an orphanage. We had two different Nicaragua pastors assist us in doing a Gospel presentation and invitation. About 2500 heard the Gospel, and over 200 made a first time profession of faith. We also helped refurbish computers at a school for the deaf, and for an Assemblies of God radio station in Managua.

Nicaragua spring 2009

This team from Grace went to Condega Nicaragua and helped a church which was meeting in the living room of the pastor’s house. The house had a 20’x20′ living room, one 9’x12′ bedroom, and a 9’x12′ kitchen. We helped the church add on another bedroom, and construct a covered patio area that now connects all the rooms, and where the church now meets. In the time since, the church has more than doubled in attendance with 45 adults and 50 kids every week. They have now broken ground on a new sanctuary and are making good progress on the next stage of their church’s growth.

Kenya 2008

In the summer of 2008 Pastor Dave and his son Carl went to Mfangano Island in Kenya with a team from Calvary Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pastor Dave helped with a teaching team who worked with area pastors and taught through the book of Colossians which was just becoming available in the local Suba language. Carl helped with a VBS and some construction including building a home for a widow on a nearby island.

Nicaragua – 2006

A team from Grace went to Condega, Nicaragua. During the time there our team helped two churches conduct Vacation Bible Schools. In the mornings we served in San Padre de los Arenales and about 150 kids from the community were involved. In the afternoons we helped a church plant in El Barrio Solidaridad. The first day 280 children came, and every day after the attendance was about 450. Part of our team also refurbished computers for the Condega branch of La Universidad Martin Lutero in Condega. And we helped the local Baptist radio station with a much needed computer to help them with their broadcasts.

Kenya – 2005

During the summer of 2005 Ahnriel Mann went with a small group to Mfangano Island in Lake Victoria on the Western side of Kenya. They visited and ministered to the kids and staff of Gethsemane Gardens School and Orphanage.
